On a recent trip to Genoa, I was lucky enough to attend the Euroflora which takes place once every four years. Considering I am currently on the quest for wedding flowers, it was perfect timing! My Italian too was excited to indulge in this international flower festival, even more so when he saw my face light up at the sight of so many flowers, beginning with exotic orchids in every color imaginable.

Ohhhhhhhh. So jealous! I’d read about Euroflora and was sad that the dates of my trip do not coincide. It looks amazing. And I have no idea how you are to choose. Hmmm. But if white roses are your favorite, and you like the white anemones and ranunculus, maybe go with white but a range of different flowers, all in white? That actually sounds pretty cool. Whatever you decide, I’m sure it will be spectacular!

Euroflora is quite an experience! SO many flowers to overwhelm the senses!
I will mix a few varieties of white flowers, perhaps with a touch of pale blue hydrangea for color.

Your photos are beautiful! My favorite is the ranunculus and they are perfect for wedding bouquets, but I don’t know how you’re going to choose with each flower being so gorgeous!

I have a soft spot for orchids – my father raised them all his life and in fact had one of the largest private collections in the world. Every family member has an orchid specially bred and named after them.
